Over the past few days we've been from Detroit to Memphis to Nesbit to Dyersburg to Nashville (Arkansas that is). It's been a blast!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

This is what we woke up to this morning! We already had a few inches of snow, but a snow storm was predicted to come overnight. And it did. Our area is supposed to get between 6-9 inches today, and we're well on our way! Our driveway was completely clear last night, but it's now covered in several inches with no end in sight. The girls are so excited and can't wait to go out and play in it, but it's still snowing right now and very windy. Macy actually had a snow day from school today, so we're all just hanging out here at home. The roads around here are still pretty bad. There were lots of wrecks reported on the news during the morning commute. But when it stops snowing this afternoon, the roads should get plowed and salted and things will be back to "normal." Wish you all were here to build a snowman with us!

after lunch here at the resort, we went to our room and began to settle. i went and got the rental car.

Today we're heading to Disney World!

Julie and I have been awake for about an hour. Macy, on the other hand, has been awake for about 2 hours! I guess she's like a kid on Christmas morning.

Things are going amazingly smooth. We're taking 1 more checked bag than I would like (we have a total of 5), but I guess I can live with that.

We have some dear friends who have agreed to meet us at our house at 4:15 a.m. to take us to the airport.

Throughout our trip, I'll be blogging from my phone. Blogging by cell phone doesn't allow me to include pictures (and it will likely be in lower case print), but you'll be able to follow along.

Fish kicks!

Macy and I love our Taekwondo hobby (and we're all so happy to be at a place were we actually have the resources and opportunity to have fun hobbies). For dinner, I made the girls some fish sticks, and I arranged Macy's in the crude shape of a gal doing Taekwondo. (Macy thought it was cool, so we snapped a picture of it.)
We also have some cool kung fu santa stuff. :)

Christmas decorating

Well, we're going to be away for Thanksgiving. We're going to Disney, and we won't be home until December 6. So, we wanted to get a jump start on our decorating. Julie did a great job setting up all of our trees. The girls enjoyed helping, too.

Snow

It was pretty neat today. Big snow flakes fell today, and we all enjoyed watching/playing in it. The above video was after morning worship.

A Couple Of New Belts For The Family

Well, Macy and I had a belt test today. We both passed!


Julie's favorite part is the board breaking. Here's Macy's work.

The head guys had fun putting me through some pain of my own.

In the above break, the guys asked me to break 3 boards. I've done this before. In fact, I took a picture to show the thickness of 3 boards.
