We were up and away in record time (thanks to folks at Mayflower--Sorry Rick and Mary). We did, of course, have a monster drive ahead of us. Departing at 7pm (CST) on Monday meant that we would not go very far before stopping for the night.
Day 2--June 3-- held another long day of driving. The kids did about as well as could be expected. The
Florence Mall (in KY) is a wonderful pit stop on our trip route. Still, the kids got a little sick of riding.

As we were moving out, these little guys were making themselves comfortable in our old home.

Blessings to you and your family as you begin ministry in Michigan. I'm a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) pastor in Lockhart TX. Stumbled across your blog while surging through blogger.com. Hope you enjoy the radical change of scenery. My wife and I did the opposite move . . . South Dakota to Texas. Took some getting used to but we like where we've ended up.
